goofy?!

what's goofy?! why do people (or some persons) in (US of) america say that word so often? particularly to me...?!

In my family-- goofy is a term of endearment, and sense you are "in" our family, it is definitely a term of endearment for you too... you NEED to come have dinner with us.... SOON
