ill and clogged...

sometimes things happen in parallel... like being ill and clogged up with icky mucous that changes in colour as your illness progressively change from bad to miserable, while you try to cope with a smiley face... and then your kitchen sink suffers the same... illness and clogged-up-misery... got the apartment maintenance person over to power a motor-snake into the pipes... quite a bizarre thing they do here. and after all the icky filthy mess (the accumulated sludge from all neighbours!!!) that decorated my kitchen... it seems to drain again... fingers crossed that it will stay like this for a decade or more. the chap said i am lucky not to be on the ground floor... they get the worst sorts of problems... eeks.

otherwise, things are pretty much in control... 'cept this whooping dry cough that keeps me awake all night... sigh.

oh well.

sometimes, you really can't win no matter what you try to do ... and i am not even talking about the 'terror' i get at work... ooh you'ven't heard how much my colleagues tease me to no end... how i live with all that nonsense beats me (they -- those men -- don't take it too well if i challenge them... isn't it ironic?!) ... at least i don't have to cope with cattiness... which would be worse than horrid... still... why me?! sob.

now that i've lost my voice, they'd better be nice-er...

drats. i so want to kick them wretched germs out of my system! crap.
