i seem to have a chronic ordeal in finding happy-shoes... spent half an hour at Clarks and some more contemplative minutes in other shoe-stores yesterday and left empty-handed... happy shoes should feel like socks... and have the elegance and flexibility for the modern day wardrobe... my Josef-Seibel mary-janes are wearing off their good soles... and it is heart-wrenching because they are so comfy, casual, yet smart enough for many other circumstances... and i could literally dance in them! i don't know why the german company has decided to opt for more bold colours and less quaint designs... the vintage option from Clarks looks rather nice but didn't feel very safe for daily prancing about... heels can be detrimental to one's postural health... as well as the sanity of ankles!
out of sheer desperation and procrastination, i went online to have a browse for other options... and found these brown shoes børn from cybersphere...

dsd! i guess, it's nice to wear bold colors if you like them... i find them rather attention-seeking... i do like my red-mary-janes though... but one pair is enough for moi. i prefer the classic brown shoes... like the ones ppl wear in antiquity... heee. but i do agree it's fun to have colors -- i am just not so adventurous!
