"gosh, you look tired!" is what people kept telling me this morning... last week... possibly all my life.
"maybe i really am..." is my default reply.
EXCEPT, one colleague (who doesn't work in the same building) seemed to think i don't look as stressed or burnt-out as i might be...
so i told him that... "it's really a façade of COPING..."
i can't wait for this phd madness to be over... so i could have weekends when i don't have to work like a normal day... and normal days when i don't have to work over 12 hrs a day and possibly a position in industrial research (if they will hire someone without an engineering background!) that will pay more than what miserable amounts academics and researchers get in this financially skewed world so that my parents won't have to keep worrying if their little daughter will ever get a decent job...
i still haven't received my London 10K race-pack... =C(
