1st case of H5N1 virus was recorded on the Scottish shores of Fife... it does sound scary... and i really wonder how safe it is to eat poultry... or how quickly the virus has spread... hmm.
interestingly though, i've not really heard much about any potential cases of the virus here in the US, which doesn't mean that there isn't or there won't be etc. maybe i've not been reading about them in the right news-pages... but birds migrate and visit here too... i wonder...
