many asians of chinese descent across the world are celebrating the Spring Festival today... it is quite a non-event here in mid-western usa. i almost wish i could be flown back for a weekend just to taste the special layered-cake, more commonly known as: "Kuey Lapis" that my mummy bakes during this festivity... i don't care for red-packets nor new clothes but a huge slice of that cake!
in any case, i hope those of you who are celebrating, are enjoying the New Year treats and the occasion to meet and catch-up with family and friends you've not seen for a while...
my wee part in celebrating or welcoming spring is cheering myself and the apartment with some lovely daffodils and juicy clementines...
I think that's a lovely display. Very cheery and the clementines are arranged in a very hmm... offering-like manner. Ha! Happy CNY, tiggie.

Happy CNY too, monoceros! =C) ...hope the silly fun of miggling and nibbling are keeping you perky!
