a squeak from absence

am still alive... it's just been very trying... i started going to the lab the following day after the long flight and have been juggling paper bureaucracies, apartment-hunting, living out of my duffle bag, working on the experimental design, searching for furniture... contemplating on whether i could survive without needing a car... and feeling bad for troubling my colleague, at whose home i've been fortunate to lodge for the time-being...

missing europe badly... and missing the fact that at least there were some friends who lived decent distances when i was in edinburgh... and that everything seemed less complicated not so long ago...

i don't have internet access away from the office and can't really blog from there... hence, it's been rather dead here over a cuppa... more soon... hopefully.

Hey May, good to see you here. I'm back in SG and missing the US, or perhaps just little Ann Arbor. Will write you soon. My blog's been pretty dead too. I'm still exhausted, or just lazy. =)
