spent the last weeks just doing that, among other things i've been trying to get done... it's been really trying.
waited for 4 hrs at 5 Grosvenor Street and tormented myself silly with the plausibility of being asked for evidence which i didn't think i'd need (letter from college to say who're my supervisors) and in the end, all they wanted to know is how am i going to support myself... i don't get it... they needed this information before dispatching the DS-2019!! utterly ridiculous.
this morning the courier service returned my passports... but the visa is on the old-expired passport! you know... really. how could they be so illiterate and blind?! i am so darn pissed-off to care.
what an awful boo-boo. So what do you do now? You have to keep lugging the other passport around then?

but well, tell you more about it when i get into the country...
