silly bombardments of sorts...

while i am bombarded (in a nice way -- although in a slightly overwhelmingly way for silly me) by calls/sms-es to my mobile phone when i arrive in singapore... i am left with much peace here (probably because most people know how crap a mobile phone user i am!!!) and can actually afford not to bring it with me on most occasions. it's funny how when people know you have a mobile phone they'd 'bug' you (and i am guilty of it too) to let you know that they are running late and that maybe you could pick this or that up on your way somewhere/home etc... and when it is a better time to meet etc. but what i absolutely find annoying is the ringing of these mobile walkie-talkies in cinemas, restaurants, cafes etc.... there ought to be some phones-free zone... hmm we need more respect for person-to-person communication too...

i am suddenly bombarded by emails from tutees or a particular tutee or a few of them... silly essay-related-panic-questions... it is slightly annoying that they should be doing this just before dateline... hmmm... other email bombardments from them come in the form of telling me that they are able to make it for my extra-tutorial screening of "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" this coming Friday for discussion in the subsequent tutorial... but i really did ask for that. oh silly me.
