i am having withdrawal symtoms too early... i miss home-food... sob... it started the day i arrived back... i made some stir-fry noodles... and it tasted bland and boring compared to the nice noodles (among a zillion other lovely things e.g. popiah that) mum made two weeks (already?!) ago... baaagh... then i had some rare inspiration the night before Frauke left; made some chicken and added some chilli and pine nuts in the stirfry which was actually surprisingly edible! but it's all down down hill... ich habe keine lust zum kochen...

Cheer up, or at least know that you aren't alone in missing home-food. =)
Posted by: monoceros on Friday, 7 January, 2005 at 00:18 hrsokie, I hear your cries! I know what to do! Btw, Rex and Pepe eat really good food. They're spoilt. On days that my mum boils soup for dinner (usually only when i'm going home for dinner), they get to eat all the ingredients that go into the soup. Most times there's also some leftover soup which we would also pour into their bowls! They're actually drinking good, homemade and nutritious Cantonese soup!!! And the ingredients are good...usually pork/spare ribs, carrots, onions, some Chinese melon, etc.
