sushi for Ruthbuth's birthday party

sushi for ruthbuth have to be quick! i just made some sushi (not professionally done but hey! they look edible! hee) for the little get-together barbecue party celebrating Ruthbuth's birthday later.... they are probably going to play rounders/frisbee in the meadows soon and i am joining them in a bit.... i just thought i'd make something else in addition to the veggie sausages i intended to bring (i am no vegetarian... but lots of my friends are) and in addition to the wee pressie i got -- a set of pastel pencils and a putty eraser for Ruthbuth to do some sketching while holidaying in South America at the beginning of june (psss it's a secret) or if not, sketching whenever she fancies! she's really good at it and i wish i could sketch faces like she does... i simply screw them up!
