spring appears

to be here... the air has a tinge of warmth and wild flowers are blooming in the sunshine... cycling into the university campus is becoming a feat as i get distracted by everything newly sprung around me...

snowdrop

i spotted a few little clumps of snow-drops (locally known as the snow piercer, clicking on the illustration will take to you other flowers of Scotland) in the George-Square gardens as i left the vicinity of the David Hume Tower. the rare clumps among the hordes of purple and orangey-yellowy crocus....
